LUPE FUENTES is a Miami-based DJ and producer whose sound moves between tech house, jazz-influenced electronics, Latin rhythms, disco warmth, and gospel soul. She founded IN THE LOOP Recordings in 2014, earned LA Weekly's Best Breakthrough DJ award, and holds a monthly residency on London's Rinse FM. Her music honours where house came from while pushing relentlessly toward where it's going.

Born in Cali, Colombia and raised in Madrid, Spain, LUPE FUENTES found her sound in the underground clubs of a city whose pulse runs all night. Latin percussion, tribal house, deep basslines — the Madrid scene gave her a musicological education that no conservatory offers. She launched her DJ career in 2010 and quickly drew the mentorship of house royalty: Grammy-winning Roger Sanchez, Junior Sanchez of Brobot Records, and the legendary DJ Todd Terry.

Her debut single "So High" landed on Brobot Records in 2014 — the same year she founded IN THE LOOP Recordings, a 100% independent LA-rooted imprint that would grow to 100+ releases featuring Kerri Chandler, Todd Terry, and a global roster of emerging voices. She collaborated with hip-hop icon Darryl McDaniels (DMC of Run-DMC) on "Get Down", and in 2023 relaunched IN THE LOOP 2.0 with a laser-focused dancefloor mandate, coinciding with the start of her monthly Rinse FM residency: Lupe Fuentes Presents: In The Loop.

Now rooted in Miami — a city that matches her cultural range and musical ambition — Lupe's sound is entering its most mature chapter: tech house's precision meeting the harmonic sophistication of jazz, the warmth of Latin rhythms, the communal spirit of gospel, and disco's irresistible groove.
